DESSERT

Collection 2021

Last but not least, a decadent dessert course to end the year’s feast. As we welcome the holiday season and the prospect of going out into the world again, we wanted to convey a message of sweet optimism and playful spirit through elevated silhouettes and jewel tone colours. Party-perfect dressing; to eat in, to drink in, to dance in.

The collection is made predominantly out of stock fabric in the studio and from our suppliers, continuing our mission to work in a sustainable approach and breathing new life into these existing materials. We also revisited previous techniques and cutting details to find new ways of applying them. Appliqué of bias-cut Thai silk strips gives an added dimension to t-shirt dresses with convertible sleeves and bowling shirts. The new signature tube fringe skirts and dresses give that skin-baring effect and dynamic flow to the collection. Trousers are explored in two new shapes: wide, billowy pin-tuck volumes and a more masculine style with belted cuffs. “The Eyes” and “Sketch Tulips” pattern from the main collection comes in new colourways on printed silk twill pieces. Square slingback loafers, a new footwear shape, lends a cool, laid-back attitude to the sumptuousness of it all.
